![]() Still, these mind-boggling statistics strike me less forcefully than my daughter’s unprecedented obsession. On YouTube, where it sits alongside countless amateur cover versions, spoofs, supercuts and fan-made videos, the Let It Go sequence uploaded by Disney last December has attracted almost 180m views. #SNOW QUEEN SCENE MAKER ELSA LET IT GO MOVIE#It’s the main reason why the Frozen soundtrack has been the No 1 album in the US for nine weeks and counting – Beyoncé only managed three – and a significant reason why the film became the highest-grossing animated movie of all time. Like the snow in Frozen, Let It Go is everywhere, and it’s not disappearing without a fight. Technically, the song from Frozen is sung by Broadway star Idina Menzel in the role of Elsa the Snow Queen, but as far as my seven-year-old daughter – who has been singing it several times a day for weeks – is concerned, it’s hers. I have also written analyses for Star Wars and other various Disney animated films, including Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, as well as some for Hey Arnold! and The Powerpuff Girls, which are my favorite cartoons.I don’t yet know what my song of the year is, but I can tell you without hesitation what the song I’ve heard the most is, albeit not always in its recorded version: the Oscar-winning Let It Go. I have written over 135 analyses for the original Frozen alone, and I currently have over 50 for Frozen II (some of which talk about both movies). Since then, though, I have branched out for the franchise by making gif sets from both feature films and the two shorts. I originally started this blog with the intention of liking and reblogging posts about Frozen, then in mid-2014, I began making my own works for said film in the form of analyses. Since Frozen was released on November 27, 2013, it has become one of my biggest obsessions and passions, which has further strengthened since the release of Frozen II. I am an avid fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter (both the books and films), and Disney, especially of animated ones and including those from Pixar. I love movies and have a deep interest in filmmaking. Hello everyone! My name is Moira, and welcome to my Tumblr page! □□□ I am an ISFJ, a Ravenclaw, and an American with Irish, English, French, and German roots. Thanks for the tag, I’m always happy to have been able to help you get started with giffing on Tumblr, especially for Frozen! □ #SNOW QUEEN SCENE MAKER ELSA LET IT GO HOW TO#I think F2 is unique because Anna has her hair down and so there’s more of it visible, as compared to her F1 coronation hair (which appears in all 4 movies/shorts) and her classic F1 braids which, are mostly covered by her pink hat, and eventually turn 100% white.Īs always, thank you for teaching me basic giffing, and for teaching me how to colour, resize and sharpen on Photoshop and for teaching me how to use Premier Pro to increase FPS! BTW ogle at Elsa’s back!Ībove gif is increased to 120 frames per second (normal is 24fps)ītw I have nothing against F1/FF/OFA Anna hair, I love all her hairdos. The above gif is in reverse =) compared to the movie. The scene above (inside the ship) is extremely dark but her hair colour IS there and can be “coaxed” to come out. Some other examples (these are all gifs I’ve posted before): (I really do enjoy the process of giffing) ![]() Making Anna’s hair “pop” in scenes that are originally dark is a joy for me! Her hair is so rich in colour and call me weird, but my heart skips a beat when I get the colour to “pop”. In the top pic, I have only applied brightness and contrast and levels but no saturation see how beautiful and richly coloured her hair is (bottom pic) when saturation is applied!! ![]() (to those who know me for my Encanto gifs, my heart is Frozen =)Īnna’s F2 “travel” hair is one of my favourite, favourite things to gif and tweak the colour, especially in this scene. Long post - I just want to share some personal thoughts as a gif maker and also some Anna appreciation. ![]()
